What is a Title Bond?

In an event the Title of a vehicle being lost, missing, or if the chain of command has been broken, a Title Bond is required by the state to guarantee on behalf of the purchaser, that all necessary checks have been made to verify that there are no liens on the vehicle and that they are in fact the rightful owner of the vehicle. All Title Bonds are done in our office. The person who would like to obtain the Title must come in with a bill of sale in their own name as well as their ID. If a person is unable to come into the office and another person must take their place, they are required to have a Power of Attorney form. The process in our office usually takes about 15 minutes and when completed the Bond is ready to take to the state. If you would like a quote on a Title Bond, please click the blue button above.
